So how did you two meet?
“Andrew and I went to high school together, but didn’t really ever speak to each other. We would casually see each other out after high school and would talk, but it was always just as friends. He then reached out to my on Facebook and we started talking. He met me one night at a bar and then we started hanging out since then. And the rest is history!”

How did he propose?
Andrew and I were going to move into our house on November 8, 2014. Early that week, he texted me and said that he thought it would be a good idea to have everyone that helped us move in (my family, his family and good friend Ryan – best man) come over and get a group picture in front of the house. Ryan brought over his parents (his dad was helping take the picture and Andrew knew Ryan’s mom would love to be there for this). We all got group pictures in front of the house and then Andrew and I got a few pictures of just the two of us. After we were done taking pictures, Andrew says, “Emily I have something to ask you.” He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
I had a a few rules for my proposal and Andrew met all of them!
*I wanted him to ask my dad first – which he did
*I HAD to have my nails done – We went to a wedding the night before and both he and my mom made sure that I went and got them “done for the wedding”
*I wanted him to use my full name when asking – he did it
*It had to be a complete surprise! I had NOOO idea that he was going to ask me!
*I wanted it to be on camera – which we got!
*It couldn’t be on a holiday or on anyone else’s special event
He met all my requirements!!!

Don’t rush to get married! The wedding planning process is stressful! Take your time planning the wedding and make sure that it is exactly what you want!
